In the quiet moments of service, we are reminded that no one should have to choose between a meal and their dignity. This past December, as a response to a personal calling to honor the backbone of our families, the Khayyim Foundation was privileged to step into the community to ensure our widows celebrated the season with full plates and joyful hearts.
It has been a humbling experience to witness how God provides. Through the quiet generosity of friends who felt led to join this mission, we were able to distribute bags of rice and essential food items to women who often feel forgotten. The atmosphere was filled with tears of gratitude and songs of appreciation. As one recipient shared, “This isn’t just food; it’s a reminder that God sees us.”
